2007 Acrylic on canvas 24x30

“Girl in Brown and Gold” is an original, signed acrylic painting on a
gallery-wrapped canvas by artist Michael Arnold. I like painting people with interesting faces or in an unusual context. The young girl in this painting looks a bit apprehensive as she glances over her shoulder while embarking on her journey, which looks ominous. The road that leads to where? We don’t know.
The dead tree? Is it that death awaits at the end of the journey?
