This (NJ Antique Bottle Collectors Peoples Choice Award winner) 34" x 40" framed oil painting on canvas is from my Marine Park Series from 1988-89. It speaks about the tragedy of pollution and features a dead Brandt Goose that has migrated in from Russia to winter and has succumbed to the pollution and the harsh winter on the national seashore in Brooklyn. There is a garbage barge heading out to sea in the distance. The garbage (colored glass bottles) from the previous century were found on the site and makes up the gorgeous integral solid hardwood frame that has been painted to match with aqua oil paint (just like the colors of the bottles.
