About this work:

How do we describe the taste of the word “Love”?
What does “Love” taste like?
What do you hear when I say the word “love”?
what does “love” sound like?

The heart is a place of private tenderness, a closed garden of intangible emotion.
This work explores how to extract and make sense of the complexities of this subject.

Over the past year I have individually interviewed different people who are intimately
connected, asking questions on the subject of love.
I documented this investigative process using sound and lens based media.

By painting the entanglement of my findings, I attempted to capture
the layering of peoples personal perceptions of love. The intention of this work
is to extract the subconscious inner dialogue and put it into an external context.

The paintings are grouped according to the senses of Sight, Hearing and Taste.
