About this work:

Revolutionaries Series. Aldous was one of the most imaginative authors of the 20th century and his advances and documentation of alternative realities are the best out there. His novels Brave New World and Island are incredible contributions to literature with their themes of society and achieving enlightenment through chemistry and nature.

There are symbols in this painting that are very relevant to who Huxley was. His higher thinking is shown in his lapel flower. It's a lotus. If you look very closely, you can see the chemical symbols for some of his inspirations. He is inspiring in his relentless search for truth in the human condition.

9 x 12" Arches 140 lb. cold pressed paper, watercolors, ink.

"That we do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history." - Aldous Huxley
