About this work:


A recently completed piece that evolved over a long period of time. There are many layers of mark-making that have subsuquently been obscured, including a lot of printed text, however even though these are no longer visible they were an important part of the process serving to provide an only partially visible history (as is true with all forms of history) of the picture and the events of my life during that time. The piece aims to communicate intuitively rather than overtly, I have always been much more interested in the understated and somewhat enigmatic.
