Los Angeles, CA and Hopland, CA… Tantric Series

This painting is from Ava Avione’s (aka Moma De Louvre and Pamela Jeanne Weston) Tantric Series. It is an example of her movements and schools of “Patternization as Color” and “Dimensional Expressionism”. The Tantric Series is about the unknown forces in the universe as experienced by the mystic in us all including the dual yin yang, male, female attributes.. This series visualizes these forces in the connection of the male and female, ascetic and fecund… the communication of the opposites and the excitement and energy they create….This painting was created in Northern California, Hopland, CA (in the wine country) at her sister’s house (private writers retreat) and Los Angeles in her huge warehouse and commercial “Living Museum”. It was shown there for 2 years where with the rest of the series and was seen by thousands of visitors…since it has been seen at her other “Living Museums” in Los Angeles, Irvine, and Santa Anna, and San Diego, CA, USA. It was also featured in Amsterdam, Holland as a main venue at the Festival in 2003. It can best be described by the poem by Ava Avione, Earth Creatures 2008.

Fingernails of fate relinquish their control on your wish to be
A greater power of your decision to be here with all the other forms
Of the sea and the air and the water more in knowing than i…
You twinkle the light of their wholeness in one process
Of divinity… we speak of nature as a tagged poweress to be
Understood in the book of knowledge… indexing
The species of love in a gracious book of learning…
You are the night of the octopus, the ray of the eel, the venom of the snake,
Listening under its breath for you to forget for a moment and be stung…

The beaches soul of air, water, light, sound, music, rhythm in sequence
Unrecognized as a whole of creation and only art is a part…
I want to mesh myself into this world of knowing and understanding in its
Walk of love..
To humbly comprehend and be that which can be created with…
A sea shell of the night of becoming…
The journey of the water creatures wash ashore in my consciousness
To bath me in their fluorescence to see a new kind of color…
With their help can I become them so I embrace their tiered path with
My seeing cells in their water movements graceful slowness
That welcomes me to the other side…

Then I greet upon passing the puppeteers of the air
In their swirling invisible mastery of creating form as it imbues
Life with its journey… and with which nothing would be…
So invisible as is so much of creation that we forget to see the divas
Singing their mermaid song in the sky…our boats of consciousness
Reach to the father air enjoining the electrical breath of life…

To play with the creatures of the air is most imbued with the brilliance
Of a billion diamonds close up to be in their star of formation…
Is its path and message to these creatures of its earth… its dominion is
The preciousness of its air passage of communication with its water soul…

This is only one of the great creations plan of becoming…multitudinous dimensions related as far as you can see… as no other purpose of being…
This ecstasy is yours for all times awareness…
