About this work:

My inspiration for this painting was a peacock...yes a peacock when its extremely mad and provoked hence me giving it the name ''peacock reaction".The main am trying to relay in this composition is that as humans we should be extremely careful with those people who we annoy and provoke....because we never know the bad outcome and consequences that could result.Innocent sweet faces can lie alot,I say this because of some of the horrific stories I've heard concerning innocent-sweet-looking people when they are extremely annoyed and provoked.

A good example:Am sure many of you have heard of those stories where a sweet innocent student was picked on and bullied by other students, then one day this same student transforms into a wild monster and pulls scary revenge acts on those students that have made their life a living hell. These revenge acts can even go to the extent of murder.I once saw a story on CNN on how this Asian university student in America who was always bullied and mistreated by other students lost it one day...he held like the whole university hostage and killed 45people(especially those who bullied him and encourage it)...then in the end of it all he took his own life. What a devastating story.

Just in the same way when you look at a peacock it looks quite innocent and your eyes tend to be blinded by the beauty of its feathers. But you try annoying it or provoking it....the reaction that will hit you will leave you speechless.Actually when a peacock is angry it releases its spikes that are located on the head area.So whoever who came up with the saying "still waters run deep" wasn't wrong.
