project 1

okay, basically I've decided to hang up my biro for the time being, & focus on soft pastel, I'm going to do as many experiments as possible in the coming weeks, its a million miles away from biro but I'm hoping to learn how to use them successfully, this is about my 5th attempt at using soft pastel so any advice on technique would be appreciated.

yes that's right I'm leaving myself a comment! Ive noticed that the right eye needed to be opened a tiny bit more, oh well I am still learning, must try harder mr. Darkscent!

I love this piece. It works so well on the balance between the figurative and abstract for me. Does it make me a bad person that I didn't notice the right eye until I read your comment?
