Beach Sentinel

This small oil painting is from my Marine Park Series and it is an Oil on Linen in 11" x 14" size. It is framed onto a teak wood 17" hatch from an old boat that drifted up on the shoreline. It features a tranquil beach scene from Marine Park National Seashore in Brooklyn, NY and you can see my young dog waiting patiently on the sand as I finished the artwork. The view is toward JFK airport from Floyd Bennett Field where Charles Lindburgh once took off for his history-making cross Atlantic flight.
