Brilliant, Vicky! Immortalizing the "run of the mill" moments in life is a seemingly simple but colossal art! Norman Rockwell's glory was built on that. You are, my friend, on your way with magnificent work like this one. The expressions on the women' faces, postures, and clothes show life in its sweet and painful truths, and the child has a face of an angel.
How many kilometres and frontiers is the bus stop in my town where I expect bus every morning , from this bus stop in the picture! - and the same faces, the same expressions on faces.... EXACTLY, PERFECTLY!
Yes, you are a great sensitive observer and great artist, this bus stop is almost everywhere, very interesting that the old and the new generation looking to the same thing in complete different way:
The first lady thoughts could be "No this one again"...,the second." I knew, all the time is the same"..., the third lady "I hate this"... and the girl :just looking, not judgments....Great work, I love it!
This oil painting was produced after taking many photographs of people waiting at a bus stop. I made a collage from the photographs, arranging and rearranging until I was happy with the composition. What struck me about all of the faces was that they had the same resigned expression, even the young girl.

Love this Vicky, the faces are so real. It's like I'm standing at my local bus stop.
