Snipe

This hand framed oil painting, circa 1989 is located in a private art collection. This oil on canvas was painted in the winter of 1989 in Brooklyn at Marine Park, which is a part of the USA National Seashore. The view is towards Breezy Point, on the Queens/Brooklyn border from the tip of Dead Horse Bay. It was painted in the late eighties then worked on in detail a little at a time until 2006. The antique frame was purchased during the 1970's and was fully restored and framed onto the painting in early 2006.
