Scrub Pine Forest

This oil painting circa 1988 is located in a private art collection. It features a scrub pine forest scene from out on the sandy southern shore of Long Island, NY near the town of Patchogue. The sad thing is that most of the scrub pine forest from my youth has been turned into houses, stores, companies, and parking lots.
