This is a multi media painting made using various art mediums as well as trash and other found items I found on walks along the roads and beaches where I live, as well as my own discarded items. The piece is a commentary about our throw-away society and the effect it is having on our planet. We are running out of places to dispose of our waste, and the time is long overdue to rethink how we live, what we buy, how we manufacture and package and sell things. We also need to encourage more building and manufaturing goods out of already existing recyclable items.
