This is a oil on linen with a simple wood frame. It is late fall with the leaves freshly fallen from the trees. Impasto and details show a small lake and hillside through the trees and branches of a small forest opening with rocks, deciduous trees and evergreens. Painted plein air in situ. Highest quality art supplies, 28" x 46" circa 1987 aka Lake Valhalla from the Mountain.
