I love these chakra's. My son loves it too. He says I should paint like this, it reminds him of the pictures in a church! It reminds me of those in between states when things take on different meaning. The humming of a fly in my throat, being in the earth and allowing myself to be conquored by all that roams on it - thus being it.

Revered in Jain legend, the great Bahubali meditated for so long in his quest for truth and enlightenment that his body became covered in dust, entwined with vines, and home to ants and insects of all sorts. I was working on this in London on September 11th 2001 when a friend called to say I should turn on the TV because the World Trade Centre in New York was under attack. That's where I was; that's what I was doing. Subsequently, this painting has never left my home.
