This is a "Reversible" (top to bottom) Watercolor painting on top of a hand-made Intaglio Print (etching) that has also been drawn on (inked). It was originally printed in 1990 on acid-free heavy-weight art paper then completed with JET Patterns by 2003. "Eastern Window" was originally designed on the East Side of Manhattan and a view in the piece was looking East Across the East River to Long Island City, Queens, NY. It features a building fire and a pair police officers and various spectators watching from the U.N. boardwalk. There is also a subway train scene, and all sorts of items from modern society. Feel free to frame it accordingly.
