This is a photo of a studio portraiture session with the very beautiful Japanese model Maya Sakura in Laguna Beach, California last year. While this photo depicts my painting as a work in progress, unfortunately it sold immediately after the session and I was unable to photograph it.
To see a finished impressionist portrait from this session and a good example of artistic differentiation, see my good friend Evgenia Gennadia Willis' work which is posted on Art Break at http://www.artbreak.com/work/show/57073-studio-ala-prima-11-evgenia-gennadia-willis.
(And yes guys, you've seen Maya in Playboy Magazine!)

Thank you for showing the studio and the model! I feel you are alive and from now I read your paintings differently!

Dear Marina! The word differently means that now I can easy imagine you in studio and how your paintings were developed!

This is a lovely shot - a wonderful way of seeing you paint. Excellent artwork, such skill. I am quite jealous.
