This is a black and white image I made of Andy Warhol. I met him about a year before he died and he looked similar to this artwork. I think he would have appreciated this as this is what he did to others, photographing them and then coloring the results in different ways. Multiple copies was important as well. Instead of a photo, I painted an acrylic painting of his face, then keeping true with the process, I photographed it and then made a silkscreen from that. Over the last 20 years I changed many prints that I had made by painting, or drawing on them, but this one is just a "Plain Warhol". Matting and framing of this 19" x 25" signed and titled artwork from 1988 will be your responsibility, and acid-free matting is highly recommended.
