This is a one of a kind, hand pulled, detailed silkscreen print, in three colors from 1983. It is from my family "Tree Series of which there are several displayed on my page. The color scheme on this unique print is with cool colors, blue, purple and black, softly reflecting the cool forest floor, or soft spray of a waterfall. It was really hand made, as I even made the screen myself when making this one. I used block out and painted it directly onto the screen for many days in order to create the background design. The original tree drawing was stolen in 1980 when my art was stolen, but I had a great offset print of the drawing that a friend made for me. I took that 11" x 17" copy and enlarged it in the darkroom to 20" x 24" size and used it photographically (with an emulsion), in order to finish the final black silk-screened layer. Final framing and matting options will be at the discretion of the new owner, but the use of acid-free materials are highly encouraged.
