Years ago, we used to go to and spend considerable time at the beach (we didn't even have all the various sunscreen protections there is today). With "global warming" and the increased strength of the sunlight and UV nowadays it's probably not a great idea to go out and fry like we did back then! This is one of my older reversible ink drawings that can be turned in one of two directions (vertically, or horizontally. Andy Warhol's (In silk-screen of course!) head added in 1989 comes from the bottom or from the extreme right side of the paper. From the bottom this is a beach scenario with some added elements of interest! From the right side it is more figural and less landscape. This is drawn and printed on Strathmore circular watermark stamped heavy-weight smooth artist paper measuring 29" x 23". The contrast of images when piece is turned is really cool. The matting and framing of this piece will be your responsibility and acid-free mat board is highly suggested in order to protect this unique artwork.
