Oil on Canvas Board

The company I work for had a mandatory training session the day I painted this. Sunny saturdays in spring are too rare a thing to waste sitting in cheap suit in a rented meeting hall - ...and I did not go. I woke up early enough to get me there in time, but my body would not comply (+ rightly so).
This was my first weekend in my new city, and the cherry trees were just beginning to bloom. The wind was soo strong that I had to choose a perspective shielded by the trunk of a thicker tree. Even so, I had to stop during the most violent gusts of wind to hold the easel steady, and my palette flew onto another canvas (still in its wrapping) at one point. My painting rags were still packed in another box somewhere - which resulted in an orange over shirt turning blue, brown, and green, and me having 2 blue, brown and green hands for the second day of training.
