This is a hand pulled and designed silkscreen print in green, that has been later watercolored and finished. It is from my Artist Series circa 1989 (the printmaking process) and finished in 2002 (the watercoloring process). "Core of the Matter" shows two separate images of Vincent Van Gogh. The images are printed in different sizes and are facing in different directions and are overlayered on top of each other, forming a third double face. The middle image is akin to many of Picasso's faces, in the middle of the frame it is uncolored and seems to be an eerie, split personality of the twisted, and tormented soul of the true artist. This designed as a one of a kind hand watercolored silkscreen print on acid free artist paper with two printings combined into one artwork. Matting and framing of this work will be your responsibility, and acid-free matting is highly recommended. The approximate size of this watercolor paper is 30" x 20"
