This painting is based on a friend who knows a man who has a friend whom on a regular basis visits a farmer and his wife and indulges in a bit of 'hows your father'.
When I took this painting to the Giclee printers , a lady in her 70's had a look at it. Very matter of factly she said, 'oh yes, that does go on you know...well not now, not at my age'!

really really really great :-) i love this :-) it's humoristic in faces o fpersons and dog and in situation, rich in particulars, great in its colors and perfectly done :-) something like Botero Style but i prefer your work ;-) Guido
