About this work:


Form a series of paintings based on self portraits made in the studio with a background drawn through white paint onto a black ground. The painting is based on the city-scape of London's Docklands and in response to the poor air quality we often experience and the sense of anxiety I often experience as a cyclist in amongst the traffic.
