This unique landscape and artist proof, which contains either a tree or a waterfall is circa 1983 and is a hand pulled silkscreen print in 5 separate colors. The original drawing of the tree/waterfall (which was much smaller) was stolen in NYC in 1980 and was the theft was featured on Page 6 of the NY Daily News. This second generation, silkscreen's background colors were created by hand painting with block-out on the screen and then finally a photo-silkscreen process was used on the black. The imagery has also been described as an ancient family tree and other similar prints from this series look beautiful when framed. Matting and framing of this work will be your responsibility, and acid-free matting is highly recommended. The approximate size of this artwork is 20" x 28"
