This is a hand-pulled silkscreen print with the addition of painting and drawing. James was a fisherman. This represents modern society, fishing, and the life of an artist. Matting and framing of this work will be your responsibility, and acid-free matting is highly recommended. The approximate size of this artwork is 30" x 22".

Check me out BIG EYED FISH on myspace I don't think DMB would mind.... well....i'm not sure but a Fish Should Know Stay Down in the Sea right? Your work is so much FUN - Where is my brain? Is some of this decoupaged prints? Or all handwork? Mind boggling (i really do have a mind to boggle)

Its mostly all drawn or painted by hand, some parts were silk-screened from original sketchbook drawings, but no collage in this example, each print is worked on again by hand with watercolors acrylics, colored pencil, and ink. The only part of this particular one that I printed direct with watercolors (from a fish that I caught on a fly rod), is the big green fish tail on the bottom left and it's body above top right, but even this has been drawn on by hand to enhance the scales etc. I usually release all my fish alive, but this fish was so big (20 lbs.) that after I printed him, I ate him. I always wanted all my silkscreen prints to be originals, so I worked on them one by one by hand for many years. i still haven't gotten to them all done though.
