lacasa Grande: I am in complete agreement with the statement that everyone has the seeds of the artist within (pardon my paraphrasing here). As a work is not complete til it is taken-in and digested by the viewer, it is that part of the process that invite one to exercise a primary component of what is art...the imagination, and for each of us the result of how we perceive may be different. I see your wonderful works as cartoons in-the-round, a joyful experience, one that is even brought closer to the impossible becoming possible through its' humanly proportioned size and scale. The connection to the earthbound environment, and in some, the sky-bound environment simultaneously is like magic. This particular work demonstrate that idea. Others I very much like are: 'Untitled' (lizard-like animal crawling through the sand), 'mojave agave', 'drip drop', and 'Desert Bloom'.
