This is a JET III original reversible oil painting on a wooden panel support prepared with hide glue sizing and oil painting primer ground. It measures 12" square and comes complete with an integral frame. It was painted in 1987-88 and has one side that is Impressionistic and the other is an Abstract Action style Expressionist Landscape. On the Impressionistic side you can see my little puppy hiding in the grasses down at Jamaica Bay in Marine Park. He was just acquired from the ASPCA and stayed pretty close. You can see him grown in another of my paintings called a Dog's Life. At the time, I had to dress him in a small blue sweater coat, as he was very young and we stayed outside all day, while I painted. On the opposite side is an abstract landscape that can be turned from side to side to side.
