I am writing on behalf of Jeffrey Reid, a Chicago artist who has painted a series of 7ft.x 5ft. portraits he calls his "IDOL" series, which totals 40, to date.
Some of the portraits, have been and are currently displayed at the Flatiron building, at the intersection of North Ave., Damen, and Milwaulkee Ave. More recently, Jeffery has also painted a series of portraits of the Obama First Family. Copies of these recent portraits are attached and MORE.
The link to Jeffrey Reid's website http://www.idolportraits.com shows many of the portraits in his IDOL series. The images on the website are not adequate to show Jeffery’s formidable talent. You can only really appreciate Jeffery’s skill at capturing the essence of his subjects by viewing the portraits in person, by visiting Jeffery’s Wicker Park Studio on N. Milwaulkee in CHICAGO.
Jeffery is very much interested in having his work displayed in your galleries. Jeffery is more comfortable delegating some of his business responsibilities to me, however if you wish to contact him directly, that is fine.
