Beautiful capture here! I`d say the blood`s color would be...BLUE! That color means expansion, it very well expresses eternity, peace (calm), healing and spirituality. Those birds bring me a feeling of freedom and loyalty, qualities also related to blue color. So, I think "blue" would be perfect. :D

Nicely captured and love the angle and composition. The branches are like veins, but as LuliaSirbu said, the colour of the blood is blue. It's a very tranquil image.
