This is a fully functioning six string acoustic cigarbox guitar. The neck I think I got from a Yamaha. I pulled the frets out and filled them in. It us made for playing slide guitar. I keep it tuned to open E. To give it a cool sound and increase the volume a little I riveted two little steel dishes to aluminum bars which are connected to the aluminum plate that holds the bridge. So its like a ghetto Dobro resonator. The lo-fi resonator idea worked and it plays and sounds real cool. I put it together a few years ago and have been playing it ever since, so it is good and broken in, with plenty of mojo. The 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 12th fret positions are marked with the ass ends of spent 357 Magnum shell casings which I saved after shooting televisions in the desert.
The shipping cost is on the buyer and depends on where you are and what the post office is charging. But I won't charge you any extra for skating down to the post office with the package.
