red to pink I think of as the candy spectrum, lilac to lavender the old aunt continuus. an early thought was 'watery', and the thick strippyness remind me of a favoured artist, Sir Rudolf Schoofs. Nice and chunky, but feminine, too.. there's a hive of activity to the lower edge - it reminds me of Dali's ants congregated on the body of a cricket..
