Compliments:

Russ Anthony:

I love this ...I'm really drawn to North American rural scenes. Give me a gently rocking chair, an ice cold Coors and a big blue sky and I'm the happiest man alive!! Great stuff and a great website too - I could've done with the poem last week when suffering a SEVERE case of 'creative block'!!

David Hales:

The chair in the foreground is great. I hope you don't mind, but to me this painting is filled with mystery: it could be the setting of a drama in the tradition of Hitchcock. I like it alot- I hope that interpretation doesn't offend you- its wonderfully painted.

Thank you both Russ and David. No David it does not offend me. Each individual sees art in their own way. I am intrigued by the way people see different interpretations of one piece of art. Thanks to you both for the compliments.

About this work:

This is a painting of an old home that is no longer lived in. I wanted to add a feeling of warmth and homeiness to this painting. The old home no longer has the look of abandoment.
