Inspired by the Occupy Wall Street Protest in New York, this is one of the many pieces that became Swancoat's Protest Series. A series of paintings that were created to Protest the Protestors using mostly Banksy & other easily found stencils to create a powerful political message or pun while questioning itself in the authenticity of art from infringement.

In this piece, "Where is the Hope" the interpretation is left up to the viewers with the intentions from the artist as either questioning the hope that was promised from Shepherd Fairys initial campaign poster or supporting Obama but questioning where the moral of America has fallen over the last financial crisis.
