Haha, you named it "Slowski"! Clever! You know what bothers me? When people don't pull over and help turtles cross the road. Its a TURTLE... you know its slow. Jerks.

About this work:


this is a hand made hand milled tortoise chair,made by me. It was made from antique yellow pine (100yrs+ old) and fiberglass. The head piece is a mold of the scales from a eastern box turtle (don't worry, no turtles were injured in the making of this chair...it was already dead.....so sad) and the arms are a mold of the actual turtles shell and are inlayed into the arms of the chair.
Constructed very solid, joined with screws,heavy duty adheasive and fiberglass in the joints.
Its a one seater.
