I was interested in the relationship between the begining and end of life. In our old age we begin to display behaviors which were also exhibited in our infancy. We are even measured in length instead of height on both ends of our journey.

It would be interesting if we started out old and grew younger. What wisdom we would have...we would make less mistakes, not squander our time on folly. This painting caused this thought to surface. Interesting work.
