This is really a very interesting work........lots of layers to work through. Compositionally, many people say never to put up a 'barrier' such as a fence, wall, etc., in the foreground of a painting. So you have broken this rule in a way that works extremely well - it has a "you are there" feel. I love the subleties of the color scheme and the way your eye does not immediately focus on the incoming plane. In addition to the clouds within clouds, the shape of one of the clouds rather echoes the 'mind's eye' vision of the shape of a plane. Such wonderful work!
