About this work:


"Tulips" was inspired in part by the local tulip festival as well as the bold colors and simple structure of the flowers themselves. This work has never been formally shown except here on Artbreak. The original is painted in acrylic on self framed board with the painting wrapping around the frame's sides to create a seamless view from any forward angle.

I have very recently begun to produce my own fine quality prints inhouse- and have the following print options for sale of the "Tulips" image:

1) poster quality (30x20) on Canon satin media 42.00
2) Fine canvas reproduction (48x24) unframed 166.00
3) 308 gsm Fine art rag (50x26) unframed 215.00
4) signed limited (100) prints unframed 390.00
5) Original work (48x32) 1,275.00


All work was captured on 4x5 film and drum scanned.
Images are then cleaned and profiled in CS3 and reproduced
on canons IPF8100 printer using archival inks matched to their optimal medias. It will be up to you and your home gallery to apply any liquid laminates and select framing.
