Echinacea was created from my desire to paint bold colors appearing through a receding thick fog. I used a mixed media to bring additional textures into play which (hopefully) visually compels a tactile impulse from the viewer. The original is painted in oil with mixed media on self framed board.The painting wraps the frame creating a more seamless view from any forward vantage.

I have very recently begun to produce my own fine quality prints inhouse- and have the following print options for sale of the Echinacea image:

1) poster quality (30x20) on Canon satin media 42.00
2) Fine canvas reproduction (48x32) unframed 220.00
3) 308 gsm Fine art rag (50x34) unframed 300.00
4) signed limited (100) prints unframed 500.00
5) Original work (48x32) 1,800.00

All work was captured on 4x5 film and drum scanned.
Images are then cleaned and profiled in CS3 and reproduced
on canons IPF8100 printer using archival inks matched to their optimal medias. It will be up to you and your home gallery to apply any liquid laminates and select framing.
