There are so many things to admire about this recent composition. Not only is the arrangement original and compelling, but the photography has become a more dramatic element. Kudos to you and your husband.

Super work, Astrid. There is so much life in this work. Plant life metamorphose into insect-like beings. Yet there's a quiet rest point with the beautiful flowers. An original creation made very dramatic by super lighting. Bravo!!!

I love this Astrid....the red and brown go well and the exquisite tiny glorious flower is such a contrast to the branch....is simply quaint and charming....the white and black make a statement also.....I like how you off centered the white vase to accommodate the branch...outstanding.....best wishes

....The ear listening attentively to the whispers of the red blossomed beauty, the hands stretched out to catch the moon in the lake...alas the days are short..... Still, the cherry trees could be admired somewhere between the region of my visual memory, it is the rain and wind that destroys the delicate petals. .....The wild darkness in the corner, the quake between the worlds, how the beauty vanishes and nobody can stop the spirit from dying within the flower....One dares not to speak out against the nature´s wanton mind! I wish I could stop that torturous pain resting on crushing waves that carried away many lives! .........This is a stunning and profoundly arranged memory...the inner loneliness thus found its speech, the equivocal strength and harmony make this Ikebana a powerful symbol of a surviving spirit. Out of this world beautiful work!!! ********* Thank you for your generous words, dear Astrid. My deepest respects and admiration to you and to your tranquil art, Katerina
