Symmetries represent the beauty in our world. Perfect symmetry equates to perfect beauty. These paintings also help calm the mind which I feel is needed more and more when life gets complex. So my series "Symmetries" are paintings with a healing function.

My series "Symmetries" are based off of symmetrical vector drawings I created in Adobe Illustrator. These images contain 13 colors each ranging from black to color to white. I drew a grid over the original vector drawings and again one over my canvas but in a different scale. Then I drew in each individual parabola line with the previously drawn grid as my guide so I could attain a higher level of perfection.

The lavender paintings "PULSE" and "Dip Way" were painted at the same time. Each contain the same exact color scheme.

"PULSE" is a dark work but still has hope in a little oval of white that resonates 11 tones of purple light through out the entire piece.
