It is a perfectly telling poem. Every part of it is meticulously integrated with the rest: the bright bits of the paper waste, the piercing eyes, the empty wine bottle, the lone un-bitten strawberry placed on the far corner of the place-mat, the chess pieces and their position, the scribbles on the wall, and even the table cloth that seems to be dried long after it was soaked. It is a complete stupendous piece of work by a master.
