All my photographs were taken on an Olympus digital slr, the ability to see the result immediately after pressing the shutter release being a major advantage in this kind of work. The one session I tried using a Mamiya twin lens reflex was an expensive failure. It may be that the look of the photographs has quite a lot to do with the objects within them. The silk shawl, glass goblet, pearls and fruit all respond to light beautifully, as the Old Masters knew, of course.

Very nice work - do you shoot film or digital? Both? This has a nice film look to it, not bad if you shot it digital!
