Water (2)

The Saale River in Halle in January 2011. Colorful imprssionistic scene caused by the reflections of the trees in the wavelets of the Saale River at a sunny day.

Digital photography, printed on canvas and mounted on stretcher frame, Limited to 10 copies, numbered and autographed.

	Bergter: You are right, Martina :). However, when I saw the photo I was disapointed since I had seen more colors than the photo showed. So I decided to enhance the slight colors I saw on the photo. When I did so it turned out that there is as much beauty in the water as an impressionist painting would show. So in the end I think this photography proves the validity of the impressionist view: a very colorful world, revealed by the sensitivity and imagination of the artist, more than any camera can show. - Well, I think I will start painting again ;).
