This JET III original hand pulled silkscreen ink on paper mono print was done in 1983-89 with layers and textural hand done effects and features an imaginary portrait of Rembrandt Van Rijn, as a tombstone. It was sort of modeled after Charles Laughton who played him in the old black and white movie and some portraits done by Rembrandt himself in the 1600’s. This was done on Arches 22” x 30” Acid-free 140 lbs. watercolor paper and was copied from an original JET III painting in acrylic to make the various pieces in my Artist (Rembrandt) Series of drawings and prints.
