This is a JET III computer enhanced photograph that was shot on the flats in the Bahamas while wading with a Blacktip Shark. It was inspired by being all alone, wading in muddy water up to my waist, and Bonefishing with a fly rod. I had to drive through the jungle to get to this spot for almost 24 miles in the blistering heat, climb through the mangroves swamp to reach the water, but it was really surprising to me in that it turned out to be muddy and I was sinking then as I looked to my side I noticed my first large shark swimming around me. I was peaceful and didn’t panic, but turned and got this photograph as he glided by me. It was originally a film photo circa 2002, then scanned to digital, then manipulated in Adobe Photoshop to change the colors, making it more abstract, Impressionistic and add the texture.
