	maria, brazilian born: Thank you my fellow artist, it is my honor that you like my work. They are very primitive to me, I feel something like quietude ( is there such word?) What I exactly mean is they are too much for me. I don't remember when I painted it but , if I know me I was overwelmed, I don,t like the fact that they are so impersonal. Maybe they are not impersonal, maybe theyare like people from California very private and quiet. Maybe they just meant tranquillity. Posted Apr 9, 2008 11:49pm

I am always fascinated when a theme is repeated . . . thoughts are to birds what feelings are to fire for instance. one inclination toward the air: flight, ideals, movement! the other toward the earth: that is fire as passion, a strong feeling, burning of various elements which are of the earth. and yet the medium is water related. i get a sense of spirit ((translucence, transparency, transcendence!)) in your renderings. nice work! -rene de los angeles Posted Jun 23, 2008 10:10pm
