This illustration was inspired by the avant garde Soviet constructivist style of children's books from the 1920's and 1930's. I remember loving woodblock prints in children's fairy tales more than the stories themselves – the chaos, the subtle hidden elements, the mystery and action. How every time I would look at them I would find something new.

This limited edition giclee print measures 10" x 16", is limited to 50 editions, and comes signed and numbered by the artist
