About this work:

  • Sculpture
  • paper mache, wood, wire, fa...
  • 5'5ht. 4ft.x3ft.wdt.

This is a creation from an idea or vision I had. She is a lonley lady of the ocean with only the sea creatures to comfort her as the loving octopus cops a feel of her breast. She holds in her webbed hand a skull and dreams of what it would be like to breath the air and indulge in earthly womans delights of companionship and riches. She is constructed from paper mache to the consistancy of wood. The octopus is made from fabric and felt over a wire frame. The Jelly fish are 2lt. soda bottle bottoms and fabric I used apoxie resin 1-1 when glue was needed. I used it also in the sand mixture for the base to create messless grain and also for thickness and protection. The schulptur is built on 1in. ply and casters for mobility. She re-assembles in 3 sections for easy transport. The photos do not show all the beautiful detail within the piece. She is truely beautiful and one of my finest works. 6mons. in the makeing. She is for sale as soon as I get the paypal going.
