My pet iguana is named "Ziggy". Iguanas like to climb and Ziggly loves to get into the Xmas tree. Most things he cannot climb well, as some of his toe tips and nails were removed when he was very young by the pet store trade. He was only $10 and about 12" long 11 years ago, and he eats vegetables, today has grown to over 3 feet long. Most of his length is tail though. The rest of the time in my house he has a fake fur bed with a heating element inside. He is free now inside the house, but rarely ranges afar. He will walk for some things, like he loves hot baths. Outside I built him a nice big cage where he is also protected from predators. My yard's wild birds such as the Blue Jays don't appreciate his presence and will attack him if he gets loose. When I am not home he waits and watches out the front picture window, he watches TV as well.
